We have just objected to an application to fell two trees as follows:-
24/04610/TREE | x2 Conifer trees in front garden, leaning towards the road - Remove. | Hill House 113 Foxgrove Road Beckenham BR3 5DA
We object to this application.
No professional advice has been provided to confirm the necessity of felling these trees. Photographic evidence (Google Streetview) shows that they have been leaning for at least 10 years without any trouble.
They also make a valuable contribution to the Downs Hill Conservation Area and the loss of more Scots Pines would be detrimental. If permission is granted, we suggest a Condition to replace them with new Scots Pines.
