Retrospective permission for the fence has been refused. An appeal is possible but very likely would not succeed. The most likely thing is that the extension to the fencewill have to be removed

New application for an extension to existing fence. Full details.
Again we see a retrospective application for a fence over the permitted development height (1m front boundary, 2 m other boundaries). At the time of writing the application contains a number of technical flaws which we have asked to be corrected. Even so, it is quite likely that permission will be refused and the extension will have to be removed. We will comment further when the corrected application has been submitted.
